In Poland, worked in University and grammar schools. Co-edited first ever English language textbook for non-Polish students of biophysics preparing for medical studies in Poznan.
Also, coached University staff members preparing for conferences outside Poland by watching their prepared presentations in a realistic auditorium setting and commenting/improving the text and speech emphasis. This boosted confidence for staff who were expert in their field but not in English and easily lost the thread of their English presentation after writing on the blackboard or demonstrating procedures when their thoughts worked in Polish. A useful preparation for academic or business conference attendees whatever their original tongue.

Italian: In Autumn 2005, my 300 page Italian to English translation was published of the book: La Competizione in aliante/"Competing in Gliders", a personal memoir with technical advice, human factors and personal development sections written by world champion pilot Leonardo Brigliadori.
The whole book revised and rewritten for the second edition published in 2008/9.

I have translated the speeches at a wedding in USA thus enriching the day for visiting French family members and American colleagues of the couple alike. Poems during the ceremony and speeches at the reception translated both ways plus general exchanges between guests in an informal manner.
