At the beginning of my professional path I've always combined my translation and interpreting activity with HR, PR and teaching jobs, but from September 2006 I am a full-time freelancer, based mainly in Italy.
My translation experience counts mostly projects from English and French into Romanian and vice-versa, but over the last 9 years I've been dealing a lot with jobs from and into Italian, too.
Marketing & advertising, surveys and social sciences, IT and user manuals, tourism websites are fields I usually work in.
My motto is "a translation should never sound like a translated text", that's why during the work process I'm paying a huge attention not only to the semantic consistency and technical accuracy, but to the linguistic integrity as well!
QUALITY ASSURANCE
All my translations are revised by a Romanian linguist I am collaborating with and I can have my translations double-checked really fast.
I also provide editing and proofreading services.
How do I check my work?
When the first draft is over, I leave the document for a couple of hours “rest” and only afterwords I proceed to a first check. If any serious doubt I always ask for suggestions.
When the deadline is not very tight, I leave the translated text for another 12 hours “rest” and revise it methodically once more for adjusting any other inconveniences that may creep into the target text.

Working with me is simple. You order a translation, I deliver it and then you pay,
and as every project has its price depending on many factors involved, please do not hesitate to e-mail me at [email protected]

As a rule, my rates range between 0,04 – 0,06 euro per source word, and, if it’s not a rush job, for a project exceeding 10000 words I offer a 5% discount.
As a rule I do not have restrictions for my weekends mobility.
