I have been working as a professional translator since July 2011 after retiring as a teacher. I have translated approximately 20,000 words in that time. I have undergone professional training as a translator from my professional body, the Institute for Translating and Interpreting, as well as specific training in the software I use. I update my knowledge of France and the French-speaking world on a regular basis. I keep in touch with developments in current affairs, education and finance.
