I am a freelance translator of English and French into Spanish, associate member of the Irish Translators and Interpreters Association and qualified by the Chartered Institute of Linguists (DipTrans IoLET). Originally from Córdoba in sunny Andalusia, I have been translating from English and French for more than a decade.

I only translate into my native language and I specialise in Tourism and Marketing. To ensure that advertising copy will resonate with a Spanish audience, I avoid literal translation and go beyond the words to focus on the message. Translated content must convey the same level of quality and professionalism as the original.

My experience living, working and studying in Ireland, the US and France for several years has provided me with a sound familiarity with the cultural nuances of my source languages, which allows me to translate the original message without altering its meaning or intended effect.
