I have a university degree from Southbank University, London in Modern
Languages (Spanish and French) and a master’s degree in Translation and
Interpretation (Spanish – English) from Alicante University.

I have 16 years full time experience translating and proof reading from
Spanish to English and French to English and I started off in 1993 in Cordoba
University combining translation work with teaching work.

I spent five years at the EUIPO in Alicante where I acquired a lot of
experience in the area of intellectual property, and trademarks. I translate
legal documents of all kinds on a regular basis for translation agencies in the
area, sworn translators and my own clients.

I have a great deal of experience in the area of footwear and accessories, the hospitality sector, the agro-food industry,
construction, tools for construction and agriculture.

I also work for local pharmaceutical
laboratories translating publications and presentations of clinical trials,
marketing material, manuals, sworn translations of official certificates and
permits, external analysis reports carried out on products for the competent
authorities, emails and letters between the companies, clients, sales
representatives.

I have done a considerable amount of work on assisted reproduction for UR-
Clinica Vistahermosa, Alicante and I regularly translate medical reports for
individuals from Spanish into English.
