My Education

After graduating summa cum laude in English and French Language and Literature (Laurea degree, i.e. BA + MA, 2001 - Università degli Studi di Trento, Italy), I was awarded the MSc in Translation Studies with distinction (2003 - The University of Edinburgh, UK) and I attended a MA in Specialized Translation from English to Italian (2011 – IcoN, Italy). With  a view to pursuing lifelong learning, I completed my master's degree studies in Didactics and Promotion of Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners and was awarded the MA ITALS (2019 - Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy).

My Career

I started working as a language teacher in 2001 by teaching ex cathedra and online English and Italian classes. Then I began my translator and proofreader's career in 2003 by collaborating with agencies, firms and publishers based in Italy and abroad. My specialist fields are arts and humanities, travel and tourism, marketing, and technical (general).
