I have to say that I am very new in professional translator’s circle. Actually, I am still a MA student at ESIT (Ecole Supérieur d’Interpète et Traducteur) of la Sorbonne, the very famous as well as terribly difficult school for translators and interpreters. My main purpose here is to practise what I’ve learned in my school and to integrate myself into the professional world as soon as possible. Sometimes I have tendency to say ‘well, wait a little bit until you become really perfect’. However, the reality says that the translators could become excellent but never perfect. Therefore, I would like to begin some freelance job before the arrival of the flawlessness in order to earn some money to finance my study and to earn some experience and skill in the professional world.
Before my study at ESIT, I’ve worked as a computer engineer for 4 years. Besides that, I have been a part-time English teacher for two years. My bachelor degree is English Literature. Now my master degree is economic and editorial translation between English, French and Chinese.
