My background is that of a "field economist" with hands-on experience of a wide range of activities and subjects, always in a bilingual context.

I'm most knowledgeable about the international donor community and its wide-ranging technical, human and financial interests, mostly around agriculture, fisheries and related issues - but my 10 years translation experience also encompasses trade, science and software localization, to quote but a few.

Also: anything marine, naval or nautical, from fish/fishing/fisheries to history/tactics/warfare, through biological and physical oceanography, shipping, shipbuilding, travel, fiction, folklore, law (safety conventions, economic zones etc).

In all those fields and any new ones you'd care to open to me, I'll bring reliable accuracy - I'll never leave alone a sentence or a word I don't fully understand; reliable speed - try me; and elegant, clear writing in French - I strive for clarity, easy understanding, and terseness.
