I have been working with Japan for over 20 years and have more than 30 stays in the country ranging from a few weeks to 2 years for studies, internships and business trips. I worked as a management consultant in the Japanese Desk of international consulting firms for 15 years before devoting myself entirely to translation and writing.

2021: Translator's Award of the City of Vienna on the topic of "Suspense Literature of the 21st Century" - Recognition Award.
2011: German-Japanese Friendship Award for services to the German-Japanese friendship, Robert Bosch Foundation BIG International.
