I bring art and
science together

My professional work is divided between language services
and creative movement and experiential anatomy teaching. These worlds combine
in translation projects in the fields of dance, movement, biomechanics, health
and anatomy. I am, however, a complete
geek and enjoy stretching my brain in various directions. I will always tell
you if a translation falls outside my areas of expertise.

Language and cultural
influences:

English (native tongue): English mother, Scottish father,
born and raised in Zimbabwe, studied in the US.

French: undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Harvard, Paris X (Nanterre), Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne), and Johns Hopkins.

I have lived in Harare, Edinburgh, Boston, Baltimore, Paris, London
and Hangzhou, and spent time training in Vienna, Berlin, Johannesburg and
Göttingen. Cross-cultural communication is simply part of my life.
