Re: Coronavirus Housekeeping Memo #2
Here is the second memo with some new direction and some updates. Thank you for working on the original COVID-19 housekeeping plan. Most of the products I have referenced in my first memo are now out of stock and on allocation.
1. All Lysol disinfectant spray such as - DOT 349458, 427340; 427341
2. All Lysol disinfectant wipes such as - DOT 578030 or 486040
3. All Clorox disinfecting wipes such as - DOT 564487
4. Clorox Clean-Up Commercial – Dot DOT 426665
5. Some Clorox bleach can be effective if properly mixed and applied. #713742 is available in several locations.
• Employee Self-Directed Cleaning - DRIVERS:
Due to the fact that our drivers travel to customers and suppliers and throughout the country, DTI has requested that we provide COVID-19 effective disinfectants to ALL drivers. This is their workplace and as such we wanted to help them with their housekeeping efforts.
Most COVID-19 effective products are now on allocation and are unavailable. I found a Clorox bleach spray that is effective and as such we will be providing 1 bottle per driver or tractor so that they can protect their workplace.
Effective Immediately –
o Please provide 1 clorox spray bottle and paper towels to ALL drivers.
You can estimate by driver or by tractor but please ensure you have enough.
There are 9 bottles per case.
o Clorox Spray - Dot #426665 (Clorox Clean Up Commercial Solutions Cup Cleaner, 32 Fluid Ounce Bottle - 9 per Case)

o Bill to DTI – contact Mugs if you have questions
o Follow directions carefully to ensure effective disinfection - this product needs to be applied and stand for 30 seconds to be effective. Wipe with a wet sponge or cloth and rinse with water.
o Follow SAFETY carefully – point drivers to the back of the bottle
o Place supplies wherever accessible to drivers. (gate station, DTI offices, warehouse floor)
o If you have concerns about EE’s taking advantage of this, use your discretion such as tracking which tractors or drivers have been issued product. At this time, we recommend only issuing 1 bottle.
o This product is also not for other employees. If they have questions, please remind them that we are working hard on cleaning and disinfecting their workplace. This is for our drivers’ workplace.
• Handwashing stations / Hand sanitizer
All sanitizers are on allocation as well.
Experts agree soap and water is more effective than use of hand sanitizers by itself. Continue to encourage hand washing prior to eating and after using the restroom.

Voici le deuxième mémo avec de nouvelles instructions et quelques mises à jour. Merci d'avoir travaillé sur le plan de prévention sanitaire original du COVID-19. La plupart des produits auxquels j'ai fait référence dans mon premier mémo sont maintenant en rupture de stock et en cours d'allocation.

• Nettoyage autogéré par les employés - CHAUFFEURS :
Étant donné que nos chauffeurs se rendent chez les clients et les fournisseurs et se déplacent dans tout le pays, DTI a demandé que nous fournissions des désinfectants efficaces contre le COVID-19 à TOUS les chauffeurs. C'est leur lieu de travail et en tant que tel, nous voulons les aider dans leurs efforts de nettoyage.
La plupart des produits efficaces contre le COVID-19 sont désormais attribués et ne sont pas disponibles. J'ai trouvé un pulvérisateur de chlore Clorox qui est efficace et à ce titre, nous fournirons 1 bouteille par chauffeur ou tracteur afin qu'ils puissent protéger leur lieu de travail.

o Veuillez fournir 1 vaporisateur de Clorox et des serviettes en papier à TOUS les chauffeurs.

o Suivez attentivement les consignes de SÉCURITÉ - demandez aux chauffeurs de lire le dos de la bouteille
o Placez les fournitures là où elles sont accessibles aux chauffeurs. (portail, bureaux DTI, entrepôt)
o Si vous avez des inquiétudes quant au fait que EE puisse en profiter, utilisez à votre discrétion le suivi des tracteurs ou des chauffeurs qui ont reçu le produit. Pour le moment, nous vous recommandons de ne donner qu'une seule bouteille.
o De plus, ce produit n'est pas destiné aux autres employés. S'ils ont des questions, veuillez leur rappeler que nous travaillons dur pour nettoyer et désinfecter leur lieu de travail. Ceci est pour le lieu de travail de nos chauffeurs.
• Stations de lavage des mains / Désinfectant pour les mains
Tous les désinfectants sont également attribués.
Les experts conviennent que le savon et l'eau sont plus efficaces que l'utilisation seule de désinfectants pour les mains. Continuez à encourager le lavage des mains avant de manger et après être allé aux toilettes.

I was deemed too young to go to the French University, so I started a 2 years program and passed the Bachelor of Business Administration from the Pigier College at 18 in 1987.

I moved to Germany in 1997 and I worked for 3 years for Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany.
