Texte source - anglais AL KHOR STADIUM
Al Khor is a relaxed seaside city in the north of Qatar, approximately 40 kilometres from the capital, Doha. Al Khor Stadium and Precinct will honour Qatar’s past while fully embracing the country’s global future. The Client X Foundation, a stakeholder of Client Y, will deliver Al Khor Stadium and Precinct. In 2022, the stadium will have the capacity to host 60,000 spectators, and will fulfil all FIFA requirements for hosting FIFA World Cup™ matches through the semi-final round.
Design
Al Khor Stadium is modelled after Bayt Al Sha’ar, a tent traditionally used by nomadic peoples in Qatar and neighbouring countries. Historically, the distinctive exterior – black with prominent white stripes – served a number of purposes. For those travelling through the sometimes harsh landscapes of the desert, the site of a black-and-white striped tent on the horizon meant an invitation to enjoy the hospitality of the tent’s owner, whether known or not to the traveller. Al Khor Stadium will carry on this tradition, beckoning football lovers near and far, bringing them together to put aside their differences in a global celebration of the beautiful game.
Legacy
Qataris today can be found travelling to every corner of the world. As the country has gained a more global perspective, herding animals has become much less prominent in the life of the nation. However, Bayt Al Sha’ar still play a prominent role in the lives of many Qatari families. Just as Bayt Al Sha’ar remain central to family life in Qatar, the precinct surrounding Al Khor Stadium will become a centre of community life in the city. Landscaped paths will welcome residents seeking exercise, whether on foot, on bicycles or riding horses. Retail areas will create opportunities for small businesses to thrive.
Traduction - français LE STADE D’AL KHOR

I’m a French native speaker with a passion for languages. I offer services of translation and consecutive interpretation in EN-FR, proofreading and transcription in French. I developed my language skills through my studies and my experience as a copywriter where I produced technical, yet easy-to read facts sheets, leaflets and newsletters on occupational health and safety. My task included the translation of EU and US documentation into French on a regular basis.
I have been a full time translator for almost 2 years now, and I am still looking to improve my translated word count.
I am used to work with Trados, I am thorough and meticulous, and I 'll be happy to conduct translation tests prior to starting a project. Don't hesitate to contact me for more information.
I am looking forward to working with you.
