Bio
A Certified Pro French translator with more than 7 years' experience makes the most to deliver quality work and in a timely manner to the satisfaction of clients. I have always been passionate about languages especially English which is my B language. It seemed so strange and lovely to me as I was a kid and I was determined to pursue a career in either translation or interpretation. At last, I was able to do so! I started translating letters from Plan-Cameroon in Cameroon, which is my native country, back in 2011. But I felt incomplete, so I decided to enroll in a translation program to be able to translate more technical documents and get professional. This program was crowned in 2013 by a Master in translation recognized by the MIDI in Québec. Being animated by that passion to do more and to improve on myself, I refused to go back to that NGO and became the mentee of a freelance translator who happened to be the best in the domain (this is my own point view). We had to part ways after I got my Residence in Canada where I now work full time as a freelance translator/proofreader/Interpreter. I understand the target audience main points, I am faithful to the source text a bit too much :) but I always make sure to render proper meanings. One of my strength is resilience, no matter what, which I think is an asset in our milieu. I have handled a variety of documents from different domains namely engineering, banking, IT, general … just to name a few with various CAT tools. Just make business with me and you will not regret it!
