The UAB will be able to accumulate up to one full freeze dryer load of vial packs (17 shelves). After loading all vial packs from a freeze dryer into the UAB the UAB will unload the vials packs, shelf by shelf, to a conveyor system. Each shelf will be able to hold two vial packs.

The water separation works semi-automatically, i.e. the water reservoir is emptied when no pressure is present. Therefore it is necessary to shut off the compressed air supply after each use of the installation. The water reservoir can also be emptied during normal operation by pushing the push-button for discharge.
