Having acquired a background in music and teaching with a strong interest in music history and biography (particularly of the 19th century composer Berlioz) I re-trained in translation at Salford University with a postgrad certificate in translation of German into English. My intention is to do small translations such as Cvs, letters, business letters, translations of e-mails. I recently translated an introduction to a book on the cultural history of the cigar for a German writer and Spanish agency Cillero de Motta.
