I am a UK national based in Martel, France. I was educated in France, Spain, the UK, Russia and Czechia. I have worked in France, Spain, Chile, the UK and ROI as a linguist and language teacher.

I work regularly for several well-known agencies and for independent clients, specialising in legal, media and PR projects.

I have worked in linguistic quality management at two city law firms in London (including at Herbert Smith Freehills, in 2016-2017). I also worked in higher education marketing (using French, Spanish and Russian on a daily basis) for Bloomberg Institute, Bloomberg L.P. in 2013-2014, and have taught Spanish and French at secondary-school level (Wycombe Abbey School, 2011-2012).

Drawing on four years' experience as a linguist and caseworker in the humanitarian sector (with VE Global, the British Red Cross International Family Tracing and Refugees Service, and with Detention Action (UK)), I also have a keen interest in humanitarian and social sciences projects.

My typical daily capacity is 5,000 words for translation projects. I have licences for SDL Trados and MemoQ.
