INTRODUCTION

I am a professional, qualified and experienced translator, specialising in legal texts, cultural and marketing texts, and food and gastronomy.

My languages are French and Italian, and I translate exclusively into my mother tongue, which is English (UK).

My primary objective is to produce a translation that reflects the quality of your company’s products and services and reads like an elegant and well-written text in the target language.


PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Having graduated with a first-class BA in French and Italian from the University of Leeds, I worked in a legal publishing house for two years as a legal marketing manager. This experience provides me with in-depth knowledge of the legal industry, as well as of marketing texts and language. I continue to work as the Head of Marketing for a law firm, meaning that I continue to gain experience in both the legal industry and marketing.

I completed a Masters in Translation and Interpreting (with merit) at the University of Westminster and have been working as a professional translator since mid 2013. I am also a Career Affiliate of the UK ITI professional body.

My specialist areas include law, contracts, business and marketing, tourism, food and gastronomy.

I only take on a project if I am confident that my knowledge, experience and research skills will enable me to produce an accurate, prompt and cohesive translation.
