On the other hand, they won't be impressed by anything second-rate. The vast majority of the time, you can easily tell when something you're reading was originally in another language. My goal in every translation project is to stay as faithful as possible to the original text while adapting it so that people won't even notice it's been translated. I understand that writing, no matter the language, must be clear and simple. No meaningless jargon to fill space, because that's not what readers are interested in - and much like they can tell a hasty translation when they see one, they can sense when a writer's been using two words instead of one just because they can. Mon but dans chaque projet de traduction est de rester aussi fidèle que possible au texte original tout en l'adaptant pour que les gens ne remarquent même pas qu'il a été traduit. Je comprend que l'écriture, peu importe la langue, doit être claire et simple. Pas de jargon inutile pour remplir de l'espace, parce que ce n'est pas ce qui intéresse vos visiteurs - et tout comme ils peuvent reconnaître une traduction boiteuse quand ils en voient une, ils peuvent sentir lorsque quelqu'un a écrit deux mots au lieu d'un sans bonne raison.
