Living in France for the past four years I have recently started translation from French to English after twenty years experience as a registered nurse (NZ/UK) in many specialities including Orthopaedics, Acute Assessment, A & E, Medical, General Surgical, Palliative Care, Health Screening, Mole Screening, Travel Insurance Underwriting.

I worked as a Clinical Research Associate for a major CRO for 3 years Clinical Research Associate, Level 2, Field Based – and worked in the UK on various Phase III/IV studies including diabetes, hypercholesterolaemia, osteo-arthritis, heart failure and hypertension.

Role involved site selection, set up and monitoring of studies, (hospital & G.P), ethical approval and research and development submissions, source data verification, adverse events, drug accountability, problem solving, timelines and recruitment strategies, close out and reporting of serious adverse events.

I am very well travelled and have been a Flight Attendant in Australia and managed a SCUBA diving operation in the Fiji Islands (P.A.D.I Divemaster), amongst other things.

My husband and I renovated and run a small Bed & Breakfast in Languedoc Roussillon in France.

We host French students learning English in our home over the quieter periods.
