Qualifications and credentials

Accredited through NAATI (AUSIT), an FIT organization since gaining a Masters in Translation and Interpreting at Macquarie University, Sydney in 2012. 

Bachelors of Arts in French, with honours, University College London, 2008. 

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Linguistics at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada. My fields of interest include the transferal of language skills in communities where multi-generational language loss has occurred; the effects of peer groups on creative language use; grammatical aspect in speech; metaphor and cognitive structure; and the phonology of language-related forms of synaesthesia. 

In my spare time, I love to draw, ice skate and visit friends and family.
