My experience and education has provided me with an excellent source of knowledge in anthropology, agriculture, arts and literature, culinary arts, earth sciences, finance, journalism and marketing, amongst other things.

My academic background:

I completed an MSc in Translating and Interpreting at Heriot Watt University in 2011.

I achieved a distinction in my dissertation which studied the translation of interpersonal relations from Spanish into English in a series of Barack Obama's speeches. I used a variety of different target texts for this dissertation, ranging from translations produced by El País to translations produced by Latin American current affairs blogs.

In 2010, I completed an MA in French and Spanish from the University of St Andrews.

This degree course also allowed me to develop my knowledge and understanding of French language and culture by participating in the Erasmus exchange programme. As part of the Erasmus exchange programme I studied for an academic year at Paris IV-Sorbonne.
