Bio
I hold Canadian and French citizenship and am a native speaker of both French and English.
For the past 10 years, I’ve been working in the administrational branch of an international relief organization, specializing in managing and coordinating its publications, editing English-language books and periodicals, as well as translation and publishing management. I’m currently the project manager for Aurora Production’s flagship periodical, published monthly in over a dozen languages.
I do freelance translating and editing/proofreading to supplement my income and broaden my horizons.
I have lived in over a dozen countries, and enjoy experiencing new languages and cultures. Besides French and English, I am variously fluent in Spanish, German, Russian, Polish, and Icelandic.
Besides offering my services on proz.com, I also do pro-bono work translating and editing for humanitarian and educational-based non-profit projects in Africa and Asia.
