Hello, thank you for reading my profile.

I am English freelance translator with an honours degree in business studies and the Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation, obtained with a Merit.

I live in Normandy, from where I have been producing carefully researched, polished translations for 4 years. Please see my profile for my specialities and areas of interest.

I worked for 8 years in Paris as a bilingual assistant for an British law firm. I then went on to teach English as a foreign language to children in French primary schools, and to adults on various professional training courses. For several years I have participated, with a group of native English-speakers, in the running of art workshops and intensive language courses for teenagers.

I am also part of a worldwide team of translators carrying out pro bono translations and editing for Solidarités, a French NGO.

Working with such a wide variety of people has helped enrich and expand my understanding of the French language and culture, as well as keeping me in touch with fellow English speakers from around the world!
