How to Perform a Blood Glucose Test
GlucoSure Extra is Ready for use for the first time
1 Wash your hands
2. Obtain a test strip and close the test strip bottle immediately. Insert the test
strip into the test strip holder and the meter will turn on.
3. Verify the code number on the screen with that on the code card and that on the test strip package.
These three sets of numbers (in this example) should be the same.
4. Obtain blood sample with enclosure Haemolance lancet, or another appropriate lancet, holding lancet against the side of your fingertip and press the release button to create a puncture. To form a drop of blood gently squeeze your fingertip.
5. Check for flashing blood drop icon will appear on the Meter display screen,
6. touch the drop of blood to the edge of the arrow mark on
the Test Strip, blood will be automatically pulled into the reaction area of the Test Strip.
7. after 6 seconds countdown Your testing result, in mmol/L, will appear on the Meter’s display.
8. Now you can view the test result stored into the Meter’s memory.
Discard the used Test Strip into proper waste basket by using the ejection button.
Warning
If the “Err“ message displays it means that is Not enough sample to start (blood sample is too low).
Repeat the test with a new Test Strip.
Viewing the test result stored into the Meter’s memory.
1. Press and hold the” MENU” button to turn on the Meter
2 Press the” MENU” button again.
3. Press button to go back along with your recent testing result.
Holding Scroll Down button pressed, you can start viewing your
memorized test results, starting from the most recent one.
5. Press the Scroll Down button to view the 7 days average, press it again to view 14 days average, and then press it again to view 30 days average.
6. Press the “MENU” button three times or keep pressing until the last testing result displays on Meter’s screen.
After finish viewing days averages or memory, you can
now either begin testing by inserting a Test Strip or press and hold the “ MENU” button to turn off the Meter

Changing Battery
1. To open, press firmly on the battery cover.
