These trains have an automatic coupler.
Coupling can be carried out on:
- un automoteur en stationnement
- un automoteur en maintien de service
- un automoteur avec une cabine de conduite en service.
I'd like to know what the difference is between these modes (especially the first two). I'll post another query for "en maintien de service".
