"support demi-arrêt et support d'arrêt"
I found the following explanation for the difference between both types of supports:

Looking at the ref. I have provided below and comparing with your context, I think this is actually what they are talking about: a 'terminal support' occuring in the middle of a line, where it may be subjected to unbalanced loads on each side.

partial arrest; partial stop, or close down support
Example sentence:
support d'arrêt
support of arrest/termination/closure

: This is a technical expression that does not lend itself to a learner-level word-by-word dictionary-based approach. Your suggestions fail to relate in any way to the actual source text / context.

: No. The text refers to power generation and has to do with a structural element on a transmission line, not a process.

Background information
Although it doesn't directly address your term, this may give you some useufl background and/or lead to further avenues of research. Note this appears to be US-terminology, I am accustomed to this being referred to as a 'strainer'

'strainer' may in fact be what you need: it is the term given to a 'support d''arrêt' when it occurs in the middle rather than at the end of a line, which seems to correspond to your case here.
