I have a list of chemicals with "qualité RP" after some of them, e.g. acide sulphurique.Does anyone know what RP stands for and what the English translation is? Thanks

Par exemple "RP grade" (qualité pure), "Molecular grade" (compatible pour les expérience de Bio Moléculaire) "Cell culture grade" (compatible avec le cultures cellulaires et donc, entre autre, stéril)...etc..

Reagent Purity
all chemicals are graded according to % purity, some are 'analytical grade', some with lower purity can be used as reagents, but may contain minor contaminants that interfere withe certain assays etc. Standards are set by different organisations eg ASTM International and American Chemical Society.
