Publicity Rights & Rights to the image of a person Publicity Rights is the US term and the rights to the image of a person (or image rights) is the term used in Canada, the UK, and other English-speaking countries. If your target audience is US, I would use Publicity Rights. If it's other, I think the other term works better.

On conducting further research, I prefer "image rights" instead of "rights to the image of a person" which is the more appropriate term use in IP law.

agree rkillings : OK in this context. Familiarly, "model rights", secured by a "model release".

Yes, that works also in more specific cases, eg, photograph. In this case "droit à l'image..." is the general term encompassing all physical aspects of a person, not only the photo image, but mannerisms, etc associated with that individual.
