Which CAT tool is best for transcription of SRT and which keeps track of max. characters and lines?

I can only use 42 characters per line on maximum 2 lines, so I need a tool (CAT or other tool) that keeps track of this.

Could it work with the new SDL Trados Studio app for subtitling?

Or would I need a more dedicated tool like Subtitle Workshop?:
