How to delete projects or tasks?

I have created a task for an unsupported document format and, unsurprisingly, it didn't turn out like I wanted. Across suggests using an external editor. How can I remove this project from the workflow?

1- In the main Display select Projects>

2- Select the Project and then select Delete>

"Delete" button definitely does not work in my case. Across does not react to such function. Any other solutions?
