Bonjour!

I'm Gaelle, a French native speaker with a flair for languages. My first translation was done at 16, when I translated verbally the first few chapters of Harry Potter to my brother, as he was too young to read English and too eager to wait for the French version.
In the last 10 years, I have lived on 3 continents, and learned the languages of each country I stayed in (including Malay and Thai).

With my love of languages, it is no wonder that translation has always appealed to me. Coming from a scientific background, however, has also given me the rigorous mindset to approach all my works with quality and accuracy in mind. Giving back a project before its deadline is due has always been a priority, and I will forgo sleep if it means being able to deliver a good-quality translation on time.

As a rule, I only translate from English into European French. I specialize in documents related to medical devices, marketing, environmental and human right issues. If your project does not belong to these fields, please send me a message anyhow. It is possible that I have experience in this field but do not consider it one of my main specialties.
