I have been working as a Romanian translator and reviser for over 24 years, and I still find the work genuinely engaging. Every subject area brings something new to learn.

My work spans life sciences, IT, legal, technical, automotive, marketing, and finance, and I work from English and French into Romanian. Over time I have built long-term relationships with clients who come back because they know what they will get: accurate, consistent, and well-researched translations delivered on time.

I hold a BA in Translation, Interpreting and Terminology from the University of Bucharest and am authorized as a translator for English and French by the Romanian Ministry of Justice.

Outside of core translation work, I also subtitle, having clocked up hundreds of hours across films, documentaries, TV series, corporate videos, and conference content, and do voice-over work in Romanian for corporate, e-learning, explainer, and commercial projects.

Lately I have also been exploring AI tools and automation, which has added a new dimension to how I approach my work.
