Cora had a near native knowledge of French and she is proficient in English. After living in France for quite some years, she learned the techniques of translating and interpreting at the ITV in Utrecht. Cora has also studied literary translation at the Vertalersvakschool in Amsterdam Her professional experience goes beyond the understanding of language and culture. Nursing, hotel management, and international cooperation are all fields where she was able to learn a lot.
Today, she specializes in medical, technical, business and cultural translations, and in subtitling. Cora has written and published three books – two of which were travel stories on Myanmar, the other was about entrepreneurship for translators (all books are in Dutch).
