Hi! I'm Melanie. I'm a translator with two years of in-house experience, now embarking on my freelance career. My experience to date has mainly been in a medical context, which I have thoroughly enjoyed, but I have also worked on financial, legal, technical and more creative texts. My passion lies in the area of lifestyle translation.

I am outgoing and ambitious with fervent enthusiasm for all aspects of translation, localisation and transcreation, continuously seeking to build upon existing skills and to learn more languages.

As well as translation, I can also provide editing and proofreading services, subtitling, copywriting, and transcription.

I gain great satisfaction from organisation and planning, and I believe that communication is the key to success in any task. I am detail-orientated and possess the ability to work quickly to meet deadlines and to use initiative in a commercial context.
