Hello there! Welcome to my LinkedIn page. My name is Fátima and I am an English/French into Spanish translator.

As a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Albacete (Spain), passionate about languages and different cultures, I studied a Translation and Interpreting Degree at the University of Alicante, including a one-year internship at the Paul Valéry University of Montpellier (France), where I finished a Cross-cultural Negotiation Master’s Degree. 

Last year, and after having spent a few years living in France and experienced different kind of jobs, such as Operations Agent in a sustainable tourism agency in Lima (Perú) or as a flight attendant in Barcelona (Spain), I decided to reorient my professional career and become a freelance translator so I could continue growing professionally and putting into it all the knowledge acquired throughout the years and experience.

Since I finished my Translation studies in 2014, a few months ago I decided to enroll in the University one more time, so I am currently finishing a master’s degree in Institutional Translation at the University of Alicante. I thought it was very important to keep on learning and to have a deep knowledge of the industry of translation so I can be able to provide a high-quality service to my clients.
