I am Jean Paul Icyimpaye.
I hold both a Master’s of Arts in Translation and a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Translation and Interpreting. My working language pairs as a freelancer are as follows: English<> French <> Kinyarwanda (Rwanda, East Africa), as applied in the University.
I am fully endowed with sound experience in language translation and interpretation. Therefore, I have managed several big conferences in terms of conference interpretation with Translation Palace and several translation and revision projects with the same company and many more language agencies around the globe.
In addition, I am a trusted project manager with modern technology in the industry (Use of advanced CAT tools such as SDL Trados, Wordfast Pro, MemoQ, Memsource, and so forth). So far, I have managed several projects in my language pairs as well as in different languages such as Lingala, Luganda, Swahili, Kirundi, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Flemish, Tigrinya, Amharic, German, etc.
With my agency, we can handle almost all types of language-related projects, such as Localization, Editing, Proofreading, Transcription, Subtitling, etc. in more than 150 languages.
