Let me introduce myself: I'm Nicky, a freelance translator and language trainer. I started my company Litterate in 2012 and have developend my writing and translating capacities ever since. I translate from French, English and Russian into Flemish/Dutch.
My main specialties include commercial, informative and editorial projects. Texts meant for a broad public, texts that inform the target audience, convince the public of your product or service. Texts that convey the meaning and goal of the source document but have a natural feel, that seem like original Dutch/Flemish writings.
Some of my recent translation projects include: - descriptions of cosmetics and perfume for the websites of international brands - press releases on art fairs, expositions, events,... - articles on travel and lifestyle, for an online magazine - a handbook concerning exams of the Belgian public government - the internal monthly magazine of a public organisation - a report on the integration of health care - the rewriting of Dutch social media posts and catalogues on beauty supplies for the Flemish market
