Texte source - anglais Translation is very difficult. This is because a language is a unique way of looking at the world. People often assume that if you can say something in one language, then you will be able to say exactly the same thing in another. This is not the case, because different languages are structured differently. There is often no "exact equivalent". A language is a product of a country's historical experience, its culture, its mindset, its beliefs.
Traduction - français La traduction est une activité particulièrement difficile, car toute langue représente une certaine perception du monde. On croit souvent que savoir dire quelque chose dans une langue permet de dire exactement la même chose dans une autre. Ce n'est pourtant pas le cas, car différentes langues reposent sur différentes structures. Il n'y a souvent pas "d'équivalent exact". Une langue, c'est l'aboutissement de l'évolution historique d'un pays, de sa culture, de sa mentalité ainsi que de ses croyances.
