Bio
French and Spanish to English translator with 15 years' experience in media, editorial and publishing: after my role as deputy chief sub-editor at BMI Research I have retrained as a translator to combine my English-language skills with my French and Spanish fluency. I have passed the Chartered Institute of Linguists’ (CIOL) Diploma in Translation (DipTrans). I am an Associate Member of the CIOL and a Career Affiliate Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting. I seek work in my specialisations of sociology; academic writing; journalism, media & marketing; arts, entertainment & travel; business; and literature. I also offer freelance editing, proofreading and writing.
