I am a native speaker of English based in Ireland and speak fluent French and German. I hold a B.A. in Applied Languages (French and German) and Intercultural Studies and an M.A. in Translation Studies (French -> English and German -> English). I have 8 years of translation experience in various fields including: documents and other material for EU institutions and government bodies, IT, logistics, semiconductor/micro-controller industry, automotive, technical (especially operating instructions/safety information and installation instructions), tenders and other tender documents,culture, newsletters, advertising, culinary and others.

I am a diligent worker and am used to meeting the highest standards, while still meeting strict deadlines (especially during my work translating for the various EU organisations). I strive for perfection and pride myself on a job well done, taking pleasure in producing professional translations which read naturally in the target language. I put in the time and effort, however painstaking it may be at times, to ensure all references and citations are accurate, especially with regard to official titles of translated works, legislation and other material.
