I am a French-Canadian based in Montreal. I just arrived from Guatemala where I taught English and French in a famous language school called Academia Europea. After less than a year they promoted me as a coordinator in a new branch of the school they opened. Now I work as a full-time professional translator and I translate from English and Spanish into French.
Since I studied mas media communication and cinema I am aware that the smallest coma or word can change the hole meaning of a sentence and this is why, when I translate, I take the time to search and think about the most appropriate word to reproduce the original meaning of an expression. I don't hesitate into contacting other translators whenever I have a doubt. I would even contact my clients in extreme cases to avoid any confusion.
