Born in Sweden and educated in Sweden, Finland and France, I hold a Master's degree in Political Science (Public International Law, Political Science; thesis language Swedish, rated excellent) and a law degree (French). Although my official mother tongue is Swedish, I have native proficiency in Finnish, and am fluent in French and English.

I worked with international legal and development issues for over twelve years both in the governmental and non-governmental sector, and also have experience in administration and budgetary issues. I focus on legal and economic translations, and have also worked on general medical and technical documents (IT, equipment manuals) as well as financial (prospectuses) and tourism-related materials (tourism information, accommodation profiles, information sheets).

For several years, I was a member of a 3-5-person translation team, working on e.g. web commerce and programme-related materials (EN-SV) and of a 3-person team translating social network-related materials (EN-SV). Currently, I am part of a 5-member localization team (EN-SV) ttranslating and reviewing marketing materials.

I take on regular legal, technical and marketing files of 3,000-5,000 words into both Swedish and Finnish. My recent projects also include:
