An animal’s previous experiences will affect its stress reaction to handling. Cattle have long memories. Animals which have been handled roughly will be more stresses and difficult to handle in the future. Animals which are handled gently and have become accustomed to handling procedures will have very little stress when handled. The basic principle is to prevent cattle from becoming excited. Cattle can become excited in just a few seconds, but it takes 20 to 30 minutes for the heart rate to return to normal in severely agitated cattle.

They also had more bruises. The degree of stress which will be induced by handling and restraint can vary from almost no stress in a tame show animal to very severe stress in a wild range cow.

5.1.2 Immerse the strip into the urine sample with the arrow end pointing towards the urine. Do not immerse past the Mark line. Take the strip out and lay the strip flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface.
5.1.3 Read results as colored bands appear as shown in the diagrams. Although positive results may appear as early as 10 minute depending on the concentration of MDMA in urine sample, wait for 10 minutes to confirm negative results. Results obtained after 15 minutes may be considered invalid.
5.2 Interpretation of Results:
5.2.1 Positive ( ): Only one pink or red colored band appears in the control region(C).
5.2.2 Negative (-): In addition to the control band, a pink to red colored band also appears in the test region (T).
5.2.3 Invalid: When no colored band appears in the control region, the test should be voided since an improper test procedure may have been performed or deterioration of reagents may have occurred.
