Texte source - anglais To produce this new release of XXX 40 Year Old, the XXX Malt Master, XXX carefully selected five casks - a mixture of American and European oak - and blended them together with the remnants of the previous XXX 40 Year Old vatting, which contained whiskies first distilled more than 80 years ago. Using these remnants ensure consistency as whiskies of this age are incredibly powerful, with even a small amount significantly impacting upon aroma and taste profiles.
