Texte source - néerlandais Ik wou in dit project verder gaan dan de individualiteit van de modellen en de kwintessens van de puberteit als een ontwikkelingsfase van het leven in beeld te brengen. ‘In Between’ is dus niet zozeer een onderzoek naar de specifieke kenmerken van de huidige tienergeneratie, maar eerder een eerlijke en tijdloze meditatie over het opgroeien in het algemeen.
Traduction - anglais For this project I wanted to delve deeper than the individuality of the people and try and capture the essence of puberty as a developmental phase of life. ‘In Between’ is not necessarily an examination into the specific traits of the current generation of teenagers but rather an honest and timeless musing about coming of age in general.

Marianne Jacobs en Raphaël de Pitteurs studeerden beiden aan wat tegenwoordig gekend is als het Departement Toegepaste Taalkunde van de Universiteit Antwerpen. Voor zij die het nog kennen: het HIVT (Hoger Instituut voor Vertalers en Tolken).
In 2015 besloten zij hun passie voor taal te delen en startten ze samen Linguaphile op.
Vertalen naar het Nederlands is uiteraard onze sterkste kant, maar ook redigeren, schrijven, herschrijven en tekst structureren zijn kolfjes naar onze handen. Verder bieden wij u talencombinaties aan binnen het Engels, Frans, Italiaans en Spaans.
