I am a native French speaker originally from Normandy and I have been living in the United Kingdom since 2010.

I have had a lifelong interest in English which led me to specialise in this subject from high school.

Between 2005 and 2008, I obtained a DEUG in English (Language, English and American Literature and Civilisation) and a Licence in Linguistics from the University of Rouen in France.

I have been a full time motor insurance professional since living in the UK. I have also obtained an ITEC Diploma in Massage in 2013.

My personal interests have led me to gain knowledge in literature, American history  anatomy, spirituality, arts & crafts.

I am a French citizen but I am married to a British partner, therefore the British and the French cultures are part of my daily life and they have shaped my identity. I am exposed to French culture everyday via literature, radio and tv. I take several trips to France every year as this is where my roots are. 

I use English in my professional life, at an advanced level and I am familiar with legal/insurance terminology.

I am available for English-French translation and proofreading jobs. I will also consider French-English opportunities depending on the content.

I am currently looking to gain translation experience to accompany my studying for the Diploma in Translation from the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
