After an important start in January, we had exceptional results on precious metals. We had mainly placed money on silver stocks closed early February with a double digit gain. The according options realized 27%. There is enough upside potential to realize another double digit gain on metals this year.
China has been another source of profits: last December, we invested in a producer of alternative energy quoted on the New York Stock Exchange. We have closed the position prior to the recent decline with round 25% profit; the according stock option 50%.
The potential in precious metals and Asian markets was part of our “Outlook 2007”, published last December. Our clients have realised profits 2007.
The current market decline is an intermediate correction which healthy and necessary to bring new money into the stock market. Nothing has changed in our optimistic outlook. On short term, we believe that we will see a second part of the decline. A total correction of about 8% would give a good base for our equity operation this year.
Our standard management has generated round 30% return in 2006. February 2007, was the first negative close after 15 months. Since the market’s situation is similar to the one of May 2006 which generated an outstanding average return of 6.01%, we are very positive about a profitable month of March 2007.
All years since having started, we feel happy having placed most of our money own money in such safe harbour.
NEW: We completed the preparation including testing with our own money for an additional setup for management on market indices. It was backtested from 1981 to 2006 and approved by our professional advisors. Results have shown 26 years of positive closing. The best years have shown triple digit returns.

En janvier, après un démarrage sur les chapeaux de roues, nous avons atteint des résultats exceptionnels grâce aux métaux précieux. Dans les métaux, nous avions essentiellement investi sur l’argent et nous avons clôturé en février avec un gain à deux chiffres. Les options afférentes ont fait un bond de 27 %. Ce marché a un potentiel de croissance suffisant pour réaliser un autre gain à deux chiffres cette année.
La Chine a été une autre source de profits: en décembre dernier nous avions investi dans une entreprise productrice d’énergie alternative cotée à la bourse de New York. Nous nous sommes retirés avant le récent déclin de la bourse chinoise en réalisant un profit de 25 %; les options quant à elles ont progressées de 50 %.
Dans notre lettre “Perspectives 2007” publiée en décembre dernier nous vous faisions part du potentiel que représentaient les métaux précieux et les marchés asiatiques. Nos clients ont déjà réalisés des profits en 2007.
Le déclin actuel du marché chinois est une correction intermédiaire qui est saine et nécessaire pour attirer de nouveaux investisseurs. Cela ne remet pas en cause nos perspectives optimistes. Une correction globale de 8 % donnerait une base solide à nos investissements.
En 2006, notre gestion standard a généré un profit de 30 %. Février 2007 a été, sur une période de quinze mois, le premier mois clôturant négativement. Le mois de mai 2006, dans un marché similaire à celui d’aujourd’hui, avait généré un retour sur investissement exceptionnel de 6.01 %, ce qui nous amène à rester très confiants.
Depuis le démarrage de notre activité, nous sommes heureux d’avoir placé la plus grande partie de notre patrimoine personnel dans cet environnement qui nous offre un équilibre sûr entre profits et gestion du risque.
NOUVEAU : Nous avons testé avec nos capitaux personnels la création d’une gestion alternative, basée sur les indices de marché. L’évaluation a été réalisée rétroactivement sur une période longue allant de 1981 à 2006, elle a reçu l’aval de nos conseillers. Les résultats ont donné 26 ans de clôtures positives. Les meilleures années ont engendré des résultats à trois chiffres.
