5. The well structure must have a specific diameter of casing tubes, especially of the casing string tubes.
In addition to the aforementioned, the well structure must meet certain technological requirements, the main ones of which are:
1. Good hydraulic conductivity (minimum resistance).
2 The maximum possible use of reservoir energy to bring fluids to the surface by choosing the optimal diameter of production tubing and the bottomhole structure.

The BD-04A well is a line drive pattern producer targeting the Kharaib, KB-1a reservoir sub-unit along the entire horizontal section.
The objective of this well is to drain the area south of the BA-33 Kharaib well, and is the southernmost producer in the line drive pattern of the current development phase.
The TD was extended to 40,320 feet to appraise the eastern flank of the B-location and to increase the exposure of single well in the reservoir.
The Rig
The catenary well profile (with a planned dogleg of 3.0 deg/100 feet maximum) in the top 16" and 12¼" hole sections was drilled utilizing push-the-bit rotary steerable assemblies and optimally landing the well horizontally (89.8º inclination) in the target Kharaib reservoir at 4,881 feet MDRT (3,482 feet TVDRT).
The advantages of using the rotary steerable in these sections are smooth wellbore curve, less tortuosity, good hole cleaning and the ease of casing running.
