I am a freelance translator and proofreader with many years of experience. Of course, I use cat-tools (SDL Trados 2019) on a daily base.

Niches - very specific topics that I manage very well.

*Art. Before University, I've carried out classical studies. Plus, my MA thesis in Modern Languages and Literatures was about the artworks of the italian artist Lucio Fontana. It has been included in the Centro UNESCO Torino Archive of degree thesis. I also have experience in translating contracts for the lending of works.

*Internationalization of enterprises. Brand identity, corporate communication, HR, codes of business conduct, workplace safety rules, training courses for employees, texts for motivational events, merger agreements, business letters, news, slides and everything about the inner reality of a company: as a translator, I have gained a huge experience in all these challenging, very specific themes.

Other fields - my working areas on a regular base.

*Tourism. I have translated brochures, websites, advertisings and other kinds of touristic texts. In summary, I have a keen eye for topics like hotel management, city guides etc. Plus, I have taken exams of the BA in Languages and cultures of tourism, University of Turin, which were particularly focused on sustainable tourism (and its vocabulary).

*Marketing. I have translated advertising material, instructions, catalogues and e-commerce ads for many products and industries. Among the others: fashion, beauty, toys, food & beverage, furnishing fabrics, language schools, stationery, binoculars, child safety seats, craft materials etc.

*Legal. Experience in translating privacy policies, supply conditions, general authorisations, correspondence between institutions, correspondence between law firms, option agreements, contracts, divorce decrees. Plus, I've attended a course of Legal German organized by Goethe Institut Turin.

*Technical. I translate on a very regular base texts about welding, turning and milling.

*Gaming. I have translated texts of board games and videogames, plus their advertising material.

*Medicine and pharmaceuticals. I have translated package leaflets of veterinary medical products, medical records, instructions of medical devices, catalogues of surgical instruments and brochures about plastic surgery.
