I specialize in translation of both contentious and non-contentious content in all legal areas with a particular concentration on commercial and intellectual property content (e.g., pleadings, judgments), as well as technical writings pertaining thereto.


Background: 16 years of full-time translation, interpreting, and editorial work on legal and financial documents and content relating to all areas of law and finance with a specialization in commercial and intellectual property law related documentation, engineering technical documentation, and luxury goods presentation materials, primarily in the automotive and real estate areas.  


I have 5 years of experience as an attorney. I have 3 years of experience as the Head of Translation of the German offices of a large international, full-service law firm, where I managed a translation staff of 22 legal/technical translators. I have translated thousands of pages in all legal/financial matters, including those pertaining to the firm, its management, advertising, and external and internal relations.
